Process & Application
Water Remineralization
Water remineralization is the process of adding back the minerals that purification — especially reverse osmosis (RO) — strips out of water. A small dose of natural ionic mineral concentrate restores calcium, magnesium and a spectrum of trace minerals, improving taste, balance and compliance with drinking-water standards.
Restores What RO Strips
RO removes ~95%+ of dissolved minerals; remineralization adds a balanced profile back.
Ionic & Dosable
Liquid ionic concentrate meters cleanly into a bottling line or is dosed by the drop.
Taste, TDS & pH
Tune mineral level for flavour and to meet TDS/pH and calcium/magnesium guidelines.
Natural, Not Synthetic
A naturally sourced mineral matrix rather than isolated synthetic salts.
What is water remineralization?
Purified and RO water is clean but “empty” — most beneficial minerals are removed along with contaminants. Remineralization re-introduces a controlled, balanced mineral profile so the water tastes better, is more stable, and can meet packaged-water guidelines for minerals like calcium and magnesium.
How RO water is remineralized
A measured amount of ionic mineral concentrate is dosed into the treated water — by drop for small/finished products, or metered inline at bottling scale. Because the concentrate is ionic and standardised, dosing is predictable and the minerals dissolve instantly without sediment.
Natural vs synthetic remineralization
Many systems add a couple of isolated synthetic salts. A natural, full-spectrum concentrate from the Great Salt Lake delivers a broader, balanced mineral profile and a cleaner “natural minerals” label story — the basis of Coremin’s remineralization solutions.

Questions
Why does RO water need remineralization?
RO removes nearly all dissolved minerals, leaving flat-tasting, low-TDS water; remineralization restores taste, balance and beneficial minerals.
How much concentrate per litre?
It depends on your target mineral level; we provide application-specific dosing guidance and the Complex 10–55 range suits different intensities.
Does it meet packaged-water standards?
The concentrate helps you formulate to calcium/magnesium, TDS and pH targets; final-product compliance rests with the manufacturer.
Is it natural?
Yes — derived from Great Salt Lake brine, not assembled from isolated synthetic salts.
